A POEM: PAIN AND PATIENCE (AN ANGRY PEOPLE)...

PAIN AND PATIENCE (AN ANGRY PEOPLE)...

“It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die;
Than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience”.
―Julius Caesar
...

Since man fell from existence;
Pain became a sentence;
Eating up our strive in essence;
Leaving us with misery in abundance.

To laborers, a slice now worth more;
Cos waiting for the whole loaf does hurt more;
To gain plenty, is to work hard and more;
Oh, that lie with which they've tame us before.

Tranquil is biting our fingers;
Sitting and watching our shady leaders;
Looting and booting our grains to their birds;
Making us mourn while they lay on their beds.

Patience has since been our acquaintance;
But it hasn't for once breach this distance;
Calmness is no longer of importance;
Cos to abide in so much pain is to emit much more patience.

We have waited enough in vain;
And our souls can't be stranded in this pain;
Our skin has denounced their cane;
Now we must fight, for our patience they have slain...
