FREEZING THE MOTION

Some photographers will just tell you to stand still for them to get the best shot and all that but like the picture above, we can clearly see that such method cannot be used when doing Animal photography, motion stills and other delight.

Here is a picture that was taken from a Canon 100D camera with an 18mm - 55mm lens.
Of course you won't just get the shot without a little switch in settings:

Kindly switch the mode dial on top of the camera to TV (Time Value);
You would see the interface change at once, then you can toggle your speed and f-stop to what suits the subject or object you're aiming at.

With these little settings, you can actually capture a moving train, an airplane, a rolling fan, a moving vehicle and any other fast moving object you can think of.
All you need to do is to adjust your speed and f-stop as it would suit you.
Note: You would actually get better results when you shoot without the flash.
